What do you think this 380 ACP Inceptor / Polycase ARX test shoot with Ruger LCP video?
Here’s a little evaluation of the new copper/polymer projectile technology that appears to be a significant advancement for ammunition used in lightweight, short barreled pistols which are commonly used for concealed carry purposes. For these types of firearms, I believe there will be a shift from conventional hollow point to these new, lightweight projectiles that utilize a unique shape which uses high velocity hydraulic displacement for creating the wound channel. The greater efficiency of this bullet shape allows the projectile to reach greater penetration, as compared to conventional hollow point projectiles. This new approach to bullet shape has revived smaller cartridges, such as the 380 ACP and even the 32 ACP as viable self defense option.
