Suzuki has launched the Gixxer 250 BS6 at Rs 1,63,400 (ex-showroom Delhi). This makes it Rs 3,600 more expensive than the BS4-compliant version. The bike, alongside the Gixxer SF 250, were showcased at Auto Expo 2020. Deliveries will commence from mid-June 2020. Suzuki Gixxer 250 Price: The BS6 Suzuki Gixxer 250 carries a price tag of Rs 1,63,400 (ex-showroom Delhi), a premium of Rs 3,600 over its BS4-compliant counterpart. It is available in two colours: silver and black. Suzuki Gixxer 250 Features: The Suzuki Gixxer 250 carries over the same styling as the smaller Gixxer 155. The chunky fuel tank and large tank extensions make the Gixxer 250 look quite muscular. The large oval LED headlight is the same unit as the Gixxer 155’s and so is the full-digital information console. The bronze-colored under-seat panels visually differentiate the two Gixxers. Suzuki Gixxer 250 Engine: Suzuki has worked its socks off to produce a unique oil-cooled engine for the Gixxer 250. The 249cc single-cylinder engine has no fins and uses the engine oil to cool the pressure-sensitive points of the motor. The engine puts out a decent 26.5PS and 22.2Nm in its BS6 guise. It works in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission. Suzuki Gixxer 250 Suspension & Brakes: The motorcycle continues to be suspended by a large 41mm conventional fork and preload-adjustable mono-shock. The 17-inch machine-finished alloy wheels continue to be shod with MRF radial tyres.
